One of our backyard squirrels. This guy regularly comes up to the back window next to the desk and looks inside to see what we’re up to. Sometimes I think he just comes up to tell us the feeder is empty. We’ve named him Tom as in “peeping.”

I have a pair of squirrels, you have a pair of squirrels. I wonder if they generally hang out in pairs? Mate for life?

And I said, I don’t care if they lay me off either, because I told, I told Bill that if they move my desk one more time, then, then I’m, I’m quitting, I’m going to quit. And, and I told Dom too, because they’ve moved my desk four times already this year, and I used to be over by the window, and I could see the squirrels, and they were married , but then, they switched from the Swingline to the Boston stapler, but I kept my Swingline stapler because it didn’t bind up as much, and I kept the staples for the Swingline stapler and... it’s not okay because if they take my stapler then I’ll set the building on fire...

I have a squirrel-resistant feeder, so they’ve learned to ignore it (the deer, on the other hand, have no problems helping themselves ...), but they have started to attack the suet holder.

I don’t really have a problem feeding them, though they do go through a fair amount of seed. The real problem is the trash pandas . Last night they dumped the entire contents of the feeder on the deck. Squirrels and doves are taking care of it.

Yea those two were going at it so loudly the other day they alerted me 50 feet down the hallway to their, um, relations.

We had a squirrel war in the street one time, they were yelling at each other from trees on either side of our street and then they all jumped down into the middle of the road and fought or chased each other around trees.
